Still Alive, I Swear

Yep. I know, its been a while, but better late than never.
Truth is, I don’t really have much to report, and any news I have could fit on the back of a postage stamp. But ill try to write a little something just to prove that I still exist and that I haven’t fallen off the face of the planet.

Currently, I am still searching for that fantastic position in a newspaper, but the Pickens are quite slim and I fear that I may have to resort to my other skills and go into bar tending (again). Not something I want to do at this stage of my career. (what career , I know)

I am still living on the graces of Nick’s mom and step dad, which, even though they are great people and extremely hospitable, doesn’t bode well for my independent streak.

On the up side… err; well I’m getting to meet contacts in the writing industry, which is a battle in itself. The soccer scene here is pretty cool, and I get to play twice a week. I’ve also taken it upon myself to start learning HTML, so ill be designing websites in no time (fingers crossed)

So there ye have it… as I said, not much happening. But never fear. When the rollercoaster does begin, you’ll have a front row seat.
