Getting Stuck In

Yes, I know, it’s been a little time in coming, but I am still a participant in the blogging craze, which, it seems, has lasted longer than the phenomenon of furbies, and so I give you a fresh post.

Well, what can I say? Except that I’m now living in
Canada and I kinda like it. I’m driving Nick’s car so the isolation and loss of independence i ranted about the last time is not an issue these days.

I'm also going through an alcohol detox after my farewell binging that lasted about three weeks, or was it more. Anyway, these days I’m taking it easy, well sort off.

I was out in town for a few drinks last Friday, but even the mentality of drinking here is completely different. Sobriety was the theme of the night, with just 2 Smirnoff ice passing my lips. Although I think that was best considering I was with my football team and the Smirnoff ice was 7% instead of the usual 5% back home. (Girls, I might as well have been drinking pints of bud... u know what I mean)

I know, shocking!!!

Anyhoot, life here is good, I do miss home sometimes, but I expected that. So all in all, im not hugely regretting my decision to come here, (deep breaths everyone, AND… release) and sleeping next to Nick again is everything I imagined and remembered it to be.

So, be happy for me, cos as the title says, I’m getting stuck in

Nat

Today, for your pleasure, I have written a little ditty about your moving away to Canada. it is a silly old song that should be sung accompanied by a little banjo riff. Propably played by some old guy with a long beard.

Movin’ out to Canada I’m going to lose my way
My precious is waiting for me a little more each day
So when I get to Canada I’m gonna be glad to say :
Let’s you and I get naked and make yippee ho-hay !

    (Chorus)
    Naked in Canada
The cold is not so bad
    Me and my dear fella
    Will warm ourselves our way
    Naked in Canada
The sun sure will be glad
To shine on my dear fella’s butt
And mine too, every day !

I landed in Canada, and saw him wave my way
My precious was waiting for me, his hair was light as hay
I told him to step on it, there’s something you must see
And we kissed our way to his house. That’s all I’m allowed to say.

    (Chorus)

I am kind of ashamed, but not much though.

What worries me is that her precious has light hair... Who the hell is he, huh?!

Anyhow, this song is actually quite descriptive of our current lives as we have developped a little bit of a aturist habit (although Natalie is too shy to mingle with strangers yet). You should try it!

Dude, that's what one would call, if one were so inclined, "poetic license".
