Where u at????

So for those who want and need to know why the blog has improved security, its because i realized that government employees.. mainly immigration could see my movement and keep track of my activities... so i updated my security settings, just to maintain some privacy on a public medium.

Now on to my post, this is for all those friends in Dublin that I've kept updated regarding my activities since moving to Canada. So in return, I'm hoping that you guys will share with me whatever it is you've been up to.

Simply click on the comment link and add some words so i know that you're all still alive and kicking.
Alternatively, you could always email ... but given that we are all.. Ill-do-that-later people, it would probably be best to just click the comment button and leave a small post.

Ahh go-wan... it's been over a year now!!!!
I believe in you all.

Residency Process

The reason why government creates so much paper work is because it's their way of finding the most finite technicality in a mess of repetitive questions. It was due to one of these technicalities that Nick is unable to sponsor my application for permanent residency in Canada.

Our application was rejected on the grounds that nick and i were legal partners when we came to Canada and we didn't state this when coming here nearly two years ago.

So our application was REJECTED.

It's been forwarded to London, England. And will be reviewed without sponsorship. As it stands, we return to a wait and see approach and hope that good things happen to good people (despite recent evidence to the contrary) and that it will all work out in the end. Hopefully sooner rather than later.

And the reason for fighting for so long and so hard to stay here... well, check out the photos and you'll understand.

I took this photo one week before the snow melted.
